This project was an incredible learning experience, allowing me to develop new design skills, including 3D modeling and spatial design. Working with a small team, I took charge of the entire design process, which pushed me to think critically about mixed reality experiences. Looking back, here are a few things I would approach differently in the future:

Exceeding Expectations
We launched our app in July 2024 with modest growth expectations, anticipating 10 users in the first month. Instead, we gained 100! Since then, our user base has continued to grow, surpassing 1,000 users and reaching 3,000+ as of March 2025.

While looking through other Fintech solutions we noticed a lack of immersion and play, resulting in their user experiences to feel monotonous and overwhelming. We saw an opportunity to leverage gamification and spatial computing to move beyond dull spreadsheets and create an engaging, stress - free way to interact with money - turning budgeting into something as intuitive and fun as playing with legos.

Tangible is an Apple Vision Pro app that reimagines personal finance by making it simple, engaging, and stress-free. Using spatial computing and gamification, Tangible transforms budgeting into an interactive experience where users build budget cities to visualize their spending. The Tangiball offers a physical connection to digital money, allowing users to see their finances in different denominations—whether in Yen, Euros, or even everyday items like a cup of coffee—while also enabling them to move their money around and connect with it.

Overview
Overview
Tangible is an interactive, gamified Personal Finance app for Apple Vision Pro.
The idea arose when my co-founder and I shared our frustration with the over saturation and complexity of Personal Finance. Despite the many tools and systems available, people still have a deep aversion and anxiety surrounding their finances. Our goal was to reduce these feelings of stress and resistance by utilizing mixed reality, play and immersion. With Tangible, user can interact with their digital money in a physical and engaging way and build their own budget cities.
We now have over 1,500 users as of 2/16/25 and continue to grow!
